This Nephrology opportunity offers you the ability to work in the highly desirable southern State of Georgia. This private practice group has 4-current centers & is developing a 5th shortly. All locations are approx. (1-hr. East of Atlanta, GA). GA is a very strong & viable state to practice nephrology. GA has many outdoor activities & a low cost of living. Locum tenens is an excellent way of augmenting your existing salary & test driving your geo-preferences. A hybrid HM/Nephrology perm position is also available in West Virginia.
Position: Permanent, General Nephrologist.
City, State: Eatonton, GA. Additional offices located in Athens, Commerce, Madison and Hartwell.
Facility: Privately owned dialysis centers.
Facility Profile: Approx. 14 - 18 chairs per center.
Beds: N/A
Trauma: N/A.
ADC: 14 - 21 patients per provider. Approx. 150-patients exclusive to the practice.
Support Staff: RN's, Tech's, typical of a dialysis center.
BC in IM. Current fellows or new graduates will be considered.
MD or DO.
EMR: TBD.
Procedures: N/A. Typical capabilities of a general nephrologist will be expected.
Hospital Rounds: Physician will rotate in two separate hospitals (close proximity) when on hospital duty week.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30a - 4:30p. Call is required and at 1:3, rotated amongst physicians.
Benefits: Health and welfare package offered. Medical malpractice insurance paid, vacation is offered at 2-weeks for 1st year, sign on bonus in negotiable, moving costs negotiable, retirement options.
Perm Compensation: A min. of $155k - $175k, 1st year base, plus a bonus based on overall center profitability. Partnership will be discussed after a minimum of 1-year of work.
